About the Author

Folke Tegetthoff

Folke Tegetthoff studied medicine and pedagogy for several semesters. In 1979, his first book (Der schöne Drache) was published; at the same time, he made his first appearance as a storyteller. Since then, Tegetthoff has performed as a storyteller in over 4000 guest appearances on all continents. These guest appearances also took him to Al-Ahzar University in Cairo, the University of Jerusalem, Sophia University in Tokyo, and Stanford University in San Francisco. In his fairy tales, Tegetthoff combines classic elements with a new fairy tale style. He writes for children as well as for young adults, but his main focus is on fairy tales for adults.
