About the Author

Erik Bertram

Erik Bertram studied physics as a junior student at Saarbrücken University and later at Heidelberg University. After research stays in Cambridge and Harvard, he earned his PhD in theoretical astrophysics, focusing on models of star formation. Since 2020, he has been teaching as a professor at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Heidelberg, while also working at SAP. His great interests include astrophysics, cosmology, string theory, and computer science.
