About the Author

Dirk Mann

Dirk Mann, born in 1976, studied horticultural sciences at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Berlin and has been working as a garden photographer and specialist journalist for many years. Raised in an herb and perennial nursery, he now tends to a plant collection of several thousand species and varieties in his photo nursery. As a specialist consultant, he collaborates with horticultural and allotment garden associations, gives lectures and seminars on botany, gardening, herbs, and plants.
