Dirk H. Lorenzen

Astrophysicist Dirk H. Lorenzen works as a journalist specializing in astronomy and space travel, primarily for Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, WDR, Radio Bremen, SWR, and other ARD institutions. He has visited virtually all major observatories and spaceports and is well-connected within the astronomy community. He has published numerous non-fiction books on current research topics with Kosmos Verlag, most recently "Hubble & Webb." In 2024, he was awarded the Bruno H. Bürgel Prize by the German Astronomical Society for his commitment to popularizing astronomy and space travel.
