Bettina Freimut

"My vocation is to accompany people and animals on their journey, to establish ethical perspectives in AAI so that all involved are regarded as valuable individuals with their own resources and competencies," summarises Bettina Freimut, educator, AAI specialist, trained psychological counsellor, specialist author, internationally active lecturer, CPP and CAP trainer and head of the Institute Animals in Action, where she trains AAI specialists (ISAAT) and AAI deployment teams with dogs (ISAAT). She is also a self-employed dog trainer (www.diesachhundigen.de), is a founding member of the quality network PFOTE (Professional Human-Animal Teams for Animal-Assisted Interventions) and on the ISAAT board, is a member of IAHAIO, BTI and the "Friends of the Human and Animal Alliance" foundation. Furthermore, she loves practical animal-assisted education with her animal companions.
