About the Author

Anna Pietschmann

As part of her psychology degree, Anna Pietschmann participated in a behavioral study of dogs and primates at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. She completed her dog trainer education at Kynologisch and her puppy trainer education at the Karen Pryor Academy. Since 2016, she has regularly published articles on various dog topics on her science blog, Fluffology. As a lecturer, Anna Pietschmann speaks on topics such as "Handling and Securing Aggressive Dogs," "Cognitive Biases in Dog Handling," and "Play Behavior." She also works as an online tutor and in the campus organization for the Kynologisch dog trainer education program, and is involved in international animal welfare.
