About the Author

André Marx

André Marx (born 1973 in Osnabrück) has always preferred to spend his free time in Rocky Beach. Even as a child, he would invent new stories for Jupiter, Pete, and Bob and act them out with friends.
During his German studies, he playfully sent a manuscript for The Three Investigators to Kosmos publishing house and was promptly invited to join the author team. The decision to drop out of his (boring) studies in favor of (exciting) writing was easy for him, and so his first book was published in 1997. Since then, he has written more than 35 volumes for the series, including the anniversary trilogies for episodes 100 and 200. He has also written plays, screenplays, and a musical, and works as an editor. Together with The Three Investigators Kids author Boris Pfeiffer, he created the popular children's book series "Das Wilde Pack". Today, André Marx divides his time between Rocky Beach and Berlin.
