Stefan Seuss
Stefan Seuß was born in Leipzig on June 16, 1980. At the age of 10, Stefan fished for the first time, using a ledger and worm to catch trout. After his first encounter with a fish, he was hooked, and Stefan spent every free minute by the water, fishing. From the beginning, Stefan did not want to kill his catches; releasing the fish he caught was his top priority. As early as 1999, Stefan's first article on modern catfish angling appeared in "Fisch & Fang". From then on, Stefan regularly wrote specialized articles for various fishing magazines. Since 2000, Stefan has worked as a test angler and team leader for Zebco Europe GmbH, one of the largest fishing tackle manufacturers worldwide, where he tests fishing equipment before it comes to market. In 2008, Stefan, in collaboration with Zebco, launched his own range of fishing products under the name Black Cat. This range includes specialized equipment for catfish anglers. Today, Stefan can look back on a large number of large catfish caught; approximately 300 catfish over 2m have landed in his boat so far, including eight catfish over 100 kilos. No other catfish angler has achieved such catch results to date. Together with fishing partner Benjamin Gründer, Stefan founded a catfish guiding company in 2007. On these trips, Stefan supports novice and advanced catfish anglers on the water. The tour offerings now extend to destinations across Europe. The catches of Stefan's guests set new standards in modern catfish fishing.
