Manuel Jorge de Oliveira

Manuel Jorge Martins de Oliveira was one of the most famous bullfighters of the last 30 years. Every arena in the world was his stage. Due to this work of life and death, the connection to the horse was especially important to him. However, he grasped the true art of riding and the associated path into another dimension of life through his intensive time with Nuno Oliveira in the eighties, who, like no other, combined de la Guérinière's teachings with those of Francois Baucher. In an intense exchange up until Nuno Oliveira's death, Manuel Jorge de Oliveira discovered access to the horses' souls through his own humanity. As the last riding master of our time, Manuel Jorge de Oliveira teaches riders of all classes and horses of all breeds in Portugal, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Sweden, imparting a touch of eternity to every one of his students who is open to the true art of riding.
