About the Author

Katja Rau

Katja Rau, born in 1979, has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. Her love of animated films meant she knew what she wanted to be by the age of 10. She pursued this path diligently, training as a 2D animator and designer. In 2005, she began illustrating. She loves drawing people and animals – realistically and analog, but also cartoony and digitally. Katja Rau lives with her husband, child, and two cats in Remstal,picturesquely situated at the edge of the forest.
