About the Author

Joana Kelén

Joana Kelén is a communication designer from Munich who often addresses ecological and sociopolitical issues in her work. For example, in her bachelor's thesis at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, she explored the problem of bee mortality and, to do so, learned beekeeping herself, receiving expert support from an organic beekeeper. She recently completed her Master of Arts in Design at Zurich University of the Arts.
