About the Author

Gabriele Richter

Gabriele Richter discovered her passion for green potted and garden plants as a child. Logically, she went on to study horticultural science at the University of Hanover. Various positions at horticultural businesses in Hanover and Schleswig-Holstein allowed her to become more deeply rooted in the world of plants. From 2003 to 2006, she focused on the extensive topic of roses at the world-renowned rose breeder W. Kordes' Söhne. In addition to roses, her interests include woody plants, perennials, and grasses. The horticultural engineer has lived in Oldenburg since 2006 and works for the renowned Bruns nursery in the green Ammerland region.
