Eugen Pletsch

Eugen Pletsch (born April 30, 1952) lives as a writer near Gießen. The self-proclaimed golf gagaist and operator of the golf portal www.cybergolf.de is known in the golf scene for his satires, bizarre stories, and unvarnished comments on the sport of golf. In the mid-1980s, Eugen Pletsch discovered golf, which he immediately recognized as his DO, as "the practice of the way," and has been practicing it ever since. Since 2005, he has been the author of the blog "Golfnotizen von Eugen Pletsch" (Golf Notes by Eugen Pletsch). In the same year, "Der Weg der weißen Kugel" (The Way of the White Ball) was published by KOSMOS, followed in 2007 by "Golf Gaga." In 2008, Eugen Pletsch began a self-experiment to become a "single-handicapper" golfer. The book of the same name about this tragic episode of his life was published in 2009. In addition to his columns, blogs, and glosses, the author can also be experienced at readings, "live performances," and via audio CD.
