David de Wispelaere

American David de Wispelaere trained in Germany with big names such as Gabriela Grillo, Dr. Reiner Klimke, Jan Bemelmans, and Arthur Kottas Heldenberg. He competed in international competitions up to Grand Prix and is currently primarily active as a trainer. His guiding principle is harmony between rider and horse, without coercion and with mutual respect.

"Horses communicate not through words, but through a very refined body language. If you want to communicate with a horse from its back, you have to engage with its language. It is willing to do anything for you, but it must also be able to understand what you want from it."
