Bärbel Oftring

Bärbel Oftring studied for a degree in biology at the Universities of Mainz and Tübingen, specializing in zoology, paleontology, and botany. The author, editor, and proofreader of numerous gardening and nature guides as well as children's books, she lives near Stuttgart. Many of her books have won awards and are also internationally known thanks to translations.
